AUDITIONS

We are excited to be casting IDC Company for our 7TH SEASON!  If you have a dancer who loves to dance and perform, then we would LOVE to see you at our auditions.

IDC Company requires dedication, hard work, passion, commitment, eagerness to learn, and strong desire to improve as a dancer.  Your child will gain many important skills as a person and dancer by being part of this team!  We have a positive competitive environment and culture for our company.

PARENT INFORMATION MEETING:

For new parents only!  Returning dancers will not attend this meeting.  This meeting is mandatory for all who are brand new to IDC Company.

Monday, April 15th @ 8:00PM (WEST STUDIO NEXT DOOR TO TERIAYKI MADNESS)

COMPANY AUDITION CLASSES:

Dancers who are auditioning will attend audition classes to learn combos that they will perform at the audition.  The purpose of this is to give the kids an opportunity to practice some choreography at home.

Dancers should bring all the dance shoes they have to these classes and wear form fitting dance attire.  Hair should be tied neatly back.  Tights are not necessary for these classes.  If we teach a dance style that your dancer has not done before, they will be encouraged to hang in there and give it their best effort.  This is also a great learning experience.


GRADE IS DETERMINED BY WHAT THEY ARE ENTERING THIS FALL 2024.

Audition Class (Kindergarten-2nd Grade)
Wednesday, April 17th 7:30-8:00PM @ East Studio

Audition Class (3rd-5th Grade)
Thursday, April 18th 4:30-5:00PM @ West Studio

Audition Class (5th Grade and Up)
Thursday, April 18th 7:00-7:30PM @ West Studio

NOTE:  5th graders must attend both audition classes on Thursday.

AUDITION TIMES:

Dancers will be performing multiple styles of dance and need to bring all their shoes to the audition.  If they do not have all the shoes they can go barefoot or wear tennis shoes.
